Introduction
"memholder" is a customizable 3D printed storage rack for large scale storage of computer memory modules, or DIMMs/SODIMMs. It is intended for environments like ITAD (IT Asset Disposition), system integration and management of personal collections. The design is optimized for lowering manufacturing time and lowering material usage as result. Over a hundred have been produced in-house since October 1, 2025 and have found extensive use at 2nd Life Inc..

Development of Version 4 started in 2026, addressing optimizations for high-speed FDM 3D printing and embedding of NFC tags. By May 31, 2026, memholder v4 has been considered production-ready though improvements are to be made to the design.
